Chapter 1:

-Some major US corporations are pulling away from the NRA after public outcry has made them targets in the gun control debate.  And the courts in germany have ruled that cities can ban diesel cars.

Chapter 2:

-Canadian outdoor sports outfitter Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) says it is reviewing its relationship with several brands, over concerns about their connection to the U.S. firearms industry — but isn’t ready to make a decision on whether to drop them.  It comes amid a public pressure campaign in the wake of the deadly Parkland, Fla. school shooting, in which a semi-automatic rifle was used to kill 17 students.

Chapter 3:

-Canada’s athletes returned home yesterday. However, one snowboarder caused a bit of controversy when he crapped on Air Canada for putting him in seat A57 after he “won a gold for Canada.”

Chapter 4:

-Should you feel sorry for someone facing a tax bill in the thousands who also owns a six million dollar house?  The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.

Chapter 5:

-A breakthrough in energy storage could have us all in electric cars sooner rather than later.

Chapter 6:

Chapter 7:

-Six vehicles were involved in a crash, including a Greyhound bus, north of Hope on Sunday that sent dozens of people to hospital.  It’s just the latest in a series of incidents on the Coquihalla Highway that has safety experts saying the speed limit on that route should be at least 30 km/h lower than what it was raised to in 2014.

Chapter 8:
-A local company is proposing a solution to the Coquihalla’s safety issues...they suggest keeping the route clear of snow and ice by using geothermal and solar thermal power.

Chapter 9:

-The federal budget will be handed down later today. What can we expect?

Chapter 10:

-A five person panel discussion (organised by BCGEU) on Vancouver’s housing crisis was held last night.  What were the take aways from the event?

Chapter 11:

-Heather Mullan was one of the thousands of British Columbians who lost a loved one to the opioid crisis last year. Dealing with a grief that few could understand, she searched for a support group to help her through. Not only was there nothing in her hometown of Langley, but nothing in the lower mainland for people who’ve lost a loved one to substance abuse. So she decided to start her own. Heather Mullan spoke with our Tim Dickert.
