Chapter 1: Show Open with Gord MacDonald

-In California a judge has ruled that Starbucks and other coffee sellers must put a cancer warning on coffee sold in the state.  This could possibly have companies paying millions of dollars in fines.

Chapter 2:

-Could it take a “Night Mayor” to realize Vancouver’s dream of a safer, more vibrant nightlife?  Mirik Milan is the first person to hold that job title in the City of Amsterdam. He acts as a liaison between the city’s entertainment and nightlife industries, residents and elected officials.  He was elected to the job in 2012 and the city has changed in dramatic ways for the better in the years since, he said.

Chapter 3: View From Victoria

-Is there a new hospital in your future?  Premier John Horgan & Health Minister Adrian Dix have announced a new hospital tower for Richmond.  Coming in at an estimated $300 million. The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines  

Chapter 4:

-Will advocates for the Rio Theatre be able to raise the funds they need to save their beloved theatre prior to next week’s deadline? Operator Corinne Lea made an offer to buy the building from its current owners in hopes of saving it from developers. Tonight, actor Kevin Smith is performing two sold out shows.

Chapter 5:

-When someone apologizes to you, what are the factors that makes you believe it’s sincere? How much time they allow to lapse, and what their motivations could be surely should be considered.  What about when a politician apologizes for a historical a wrong-doing? Are you inclined to feel that apology is ever sincere? Do public political apologizes hold any merit?

Chapter 6:

-A Victoria-based data company is denying its connections to Cambridge Analytica and all the controversy that goes with it. However, there may be a link to a BC political party this company, called Aggregate IQ, can’t avoid.

Chapter 7: Squire on Sports

-If you’re upset that the Canucks lose when they need to win and win when they need to lose...Be thankful your not an Edmonton Oilers fan!

Chapter 8:

-Look up in the sky…is that a Chinese space station you see careening uncontrollably towards the earth? China's out-of-control space station, Tiangong-1, is getting very close to its expected date of re-entry. The problem is, experts don't know when or where it's expected to land.
