Chapter 1:

-Surrey father Brett Rodway needed to see a doctor so that his 12-year old son could have some stitches removed.  But his family’s doctor’s office was closed, so he went to a walk-in clinic after school.  He was told the clinic wasn’t taking any more patients as they had reached their quota for the day.

Chapter 2:

-John Horgan says while he does have plans to tone down speculation in the BC market, banning foreign ownership would simply scare off foreign investors. BC Green party leader Andrew Weaver has raised the idea of a law which restricts the purchase of existing homes to residents of New Zealand and Australia. But the Premier says that’s not the answer.  Horgan is likely to face increasing questions about speculation in BC’s property market during a 10-day trade trip to China, Korea and Japan on Saturday.

Chapter 3:

-In case you missed it...CKNW had an exclusive interview with one of the victims in Saturday night’s fatal shooting that left a gang member and a 15-year old boy dead. The man known as “Ralph” found a bullet hole in the headrest of his car - the bullet even grazed his face.

Chapter 5:

-There were Some strong hints from Premier John Horgan towards Metro Vancouver mayors in response to a mobility-pricing report.  Horgan will wait for the final report but he cautioned that local governments should not count on the New Democrats approving just any revenue sources.  For the NDP affordability will be the key.  The Vancouver Sun’s Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.

Chapter 6:

-It’s no longer just an idea.  The mirrorless car has been unveiled by Mitsubishi motors.  Instead of mirrors so you can see potential dangers around your car while driving, the new car has cameras and screens that let you see a full 360 view of what’s happening around you.  Tim Dickert is here with the Tech Report.

Chapter 7:

-A lot of questions are being asked after an innocent 15 year old bystander, lost his life on the weekend after a brazen shoot-out between suspected gang members.  A stray bullet struck the 15 year old and he did not recover from his wounds after being rushed to hospitals. 

Chapter 8:

-Today on Making Cents of the Markets, the bank of Canada has hiked its interest rates by a quarter of a percentage point which some find a little alarming as the forecast for the Canadian Economy is questionable.  We also dive into the Bull Market and how some economists think it will last another 3 years.

Chapter 9:

-We’re getting a better idea of how drivers in Metro Vancouver might be charged under the region’s proposed mobility pricing scheme.  Metro Vancouver’s mayors have argued the scheme is necessary in order to fund major transportation projects such as Surrey light rail transit (LRT) and the Pattullo Bridge replacement, along with cutting congestion in the region.
