Chapter 1:

-A community group in Kitsilano is holding a rally this evening during the Vancouver Park Board's 6 PM meeting.  On the agenda: a proposed bike path, recommended by city staff and HUB cycling. It would cut through the green space in two areas of Kitsilano Beach Park and replace more than 900 square metres with a paved path.

Chapter 2:

-A democratic dictatorship...what?  These two words don’t work together yet in China they seem to be pushed.  This comes after the President is set to maintain his Presidency for life.

Chapter 3:

-Amid concerns over a massive black hole in its finances, ICBC says it's paid enough already for repairing a rare Ferrari which collided with a pole in 2012.  According to court documents posted online ICBC has paid 790 thousand for it to be fixed, even though an arbiter found the car has a cash value of 696 thousand.  In a statement to Global News, ICBC says the car has been repaired.

Chapter 4:

-Did you hear...in Poland, the government has banned trade on Sundays. In other words, no one is working on Sunday’s anymore!

Chapter 5:

-The $1.377 billion Pattullo replacement will be the first infrastructure project to be built under the community benefits agreement, Horgan promises B.C. construction unions meeting in Victoria.

Chapter 6:

-Samsung is out with a new pair of wireless bluetooth earbuds and Tim Dickert has been walking around with them in his ears for a couple weeks. His review on the tech report.

Chapter 7:

-A coalition of concerned activists is planning a rally ahead of Monday’s Vancouver Park Board meeting, where a proposed new bike path through Kitsilano Beach Park will be debated.  The protest, which is being organized by Wake Up Vancouver, will take place outside the Park Board office before the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Chapter 8:

-As expected, China has approved the removal of time limits for its leaders, effectively allowing Xi Jinping to rule for life.

Chapter 9:
-In Ontario, the PC leadership battle was thrown into chaos after Christine Elliot refused to concede to Doug Ford. Who is Doug Ford and what does he stand for?

Chapter 10:

-The cultural practice of indigenous tattooing is on the decline. However, a number of BC artists are making sure it never fully becomes ancient history. Dion Kaszas is a cultural tattoo practitioner and tattoo artist who will be featured on tomorrow’s episode of APTN’s “Skindigenous.”
