Chapter 1:

-Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia has tested an array of nuclear weapons that can't be intercepted by the technology of today.

Chapter 2:

-Is this the beginning of another nuclear arms race? A show of force from Vladimir Putin overnight - he’s boasted that Russia’s in the process of developing an invisible nuke, capable of reaching almost any place in the world.

Chapter 3:

-MEC has decided it will stop selling brands associated with Vista Outdoor Inc.

Remember all of those people saying “give the teachers guns”? Well, yesterday a school in Georgia had to be evacuated because a teacher barricaded himself in a classroom and started firing his handgun.

Chapter 4:

-Spotify is going public, with an initial public offering, and their filling has some interesting information for the future of music streaming.  Tim Dickert has the tech report.

Chapter 6:

-The federal budget might have been sold on its female-friendly features, but business experts say it still falls short in solving the wage gap because the formula it uses to calculate employment insurance still favours men over women.

Chapter 7:

-If you were upset with your wedding photos, what would you do? One local bride chose to defame the wedding company online. She staged an online attack on the business, leaving numerous disparaging comments on a variety of websites. As a result, a judge ruled she must pay the company $115,000 in damages!

Chapter 8:
-Canadian outfitter Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) has dropped five brands linked to a major U.S. gun manufacturer following a public outcry in the wake of a mass-shooting at a Florida high school.  MEC announced Thursday the company will no longer place orders from brands owned by Vista Outdoor, a company that also develops and manufactures firearms similar to the weapon used to kill 17 students and staff at a high school in Parkland, Fla.

Chapter 9:

-The Rick Hansen foundation says improving physical accessibility in the workplace could see Canada’s GDP soar by $16.8b within 12 years.

Chapter 10:

-The 2018 festival features wines from 16 countries. There is a focus on a different region or country every year; the featured region has its own section in the tasting room and offers thematic seminars and food and wine pairings throughout the week. In 2018, the festival is celebrating wines from Iberian Peninsula neighbours, Spain (with 38 wineries) and Portugal (with 20 wineries).
