-Saturday is Remembrance Day – a time to pay our respects to soldiers and veterans for the sacrifices they’ve made. But in death, a tragic number of these veterans slowly become forgotten; moss covers their graves and their headstones begin to crumble. But there is one BC organization who are working to make sure these veterans get the respect they deserve – both in life and in death. CKNW’s Niki Reitmayer has their story.

Chapter 8:
-A funeral date has been set for Abbotsford police officer Const. John Davidson. The funeral, which will involve a full police honours service, will take place Sunday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Abbotsford Centre. It will be open to the public.

-The gun debate in the United States is something many Canadians are very familiar with, however, there is a gun debate happening here at home that most Canadians aren’t aware of. Rod Giltaca is the President of the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights, an advocacy group for gun owners in Canada, and he at the front lines of the Gun Control debate here in Canada.
