Chapter 1:
-The wildfire season has kicked off in B.C. and we are tracking the location of the wildfires around the province.  There are currently 113 wildfires burning around B.C., including 38 throughout the Kamloops Fire Centre and 48 throughout the Prince George Fire Centre.
Chapter 2:
-The Mount Eneas fire has grown in size, forcing the evacuation of almost 1500 people from a large area of Peachland, in the Okanagan. Properties east to Highway 97 are under a State of Local Emergency. The order impacts about 596 properties. Wildfire Service Spokesperson Kevin Skrepnek says crews are facing challenges including warm temperatures and tough terrain. About a dozen blazes were triggered by a lightning storm which passed through the Okanagan Valley corridor on Tuesday night.
Chapter 3:
-A server in Savannah, Georgia promptly put a customer in his place when he grabbed her butt as he walked past. CCTV footage shows the man touching her, followed by her grabbing him by the collar, throwing him to the floor, and scolding him in front of other diners. Police were called and the man was promptly arrested after they viewed the damning footage.
Chapter 4:
-Misleading, evasive and inadvertently ridiculous!  Transportation Minister Claire Trevena’s media conference on ride hailing Thursday had it all.  The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.
Chapter 5:
-Do you want ride sharing in BC? Well, you’re gonna have to wait! The BC Government has decided to delay moves which would pave the way for companies such as Uber and Lyft to operate in BC. We won’t see ride sharing in BC until the end of next year, at the earliest.
Chapter 6:
-Yesterday, representatives from the auto industry in Canada and the US met in Washington to discuss the impact of Donald Trump’s proposed 25% tariffs on autos and auto parts made in Canada. Kirsten Hillman, Canada’s deputy ambassador to the US delivered the threat on behalf of the Trudeau government.
Chapter 7:
-It may be a beauty day in Vancouver but it's rainy and wet in scotland for the British Open.
Chapter 8:
-A Senate report authored by the Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs has thrust the issue of forced adoptions in Canada into the spotlight. Women in post-war Canada were forced to give up their children, as the government tried to promote the value of the traditional nuclear family.
Chapter 9:
-People lined up for hours to see the corpse flower at the Bloedel Conservatory. But now that it is starting to wilt, what does the future hold for Uncle Fester? Niki Reitmayer spoke with Bruce McDonald, superintendent of the Bloedel Conservatory.
Chapter 10:
-Canucks head coach Travis Green is encouraging fans to donate their pre-loved professional clothing to Moores Clothing For Men stores through the month of July. The suit drive will benefit unemployed Canadians looking to get back into the workforce, encouraging them to feel and look their best.
