Chapter 1: What's in the news with Gord MacDonald

- The Grouse Grind is opening up today, luckily Jon is leaving town according to Gord. Also, a big rally against the school tax took place recently.

Chapter 2: 

- About 100 people rallied at Trimble Park on Vancouver’s West Side, to express their opposition to the NDP’s school tax targeting those who own homes worth more than $3M.

Chapter 3: 

- Outrage in Surrey! One resident took it upon himself to have a tree cut down where peacocks were nesting (that’s right - peacocks). Some neighbours are outraged that the home of these beautiful birds has been destroyed...but was this man right to get rid of these bothersome birds?

Chapter 4: View From Victoria

- There is lots of finger pointing going regarding the school tax. There was a town hall meeting scheduled, and David Eby is blaming Andrew Wilkinson for the cancellation, suggesting he riled up supporters to attend the event. The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.

Chapter 5: 

- Surprisingly, a poll released by Ipsos Reid that surveyed British Columbians, has shown that the majority is actually in favour of the Kinder Morgan pipeline.

Chapter 6: 

- Do politicians and bureaucrats really care about rising gas prices? Poco Councillor Brad West claims not only are high prices not a priority for many politicians, but they are the goal.

Chapter 7: Squire On Sports

- Not many teams find success at the trade deadline. Luckily for the Winnipeg Jets, Paul Stastny has proven to be a huge win.

Chapter 8: 

- A Peacock has caused a stir in Surrey, as well as on the buzzlines.

Chapter 9: Making Cents of the Markets

- Surprise, Apple’s shares are up. Also the dollar is doing the best it has in 4 months. The world’s economies have evolved significantly, and it’s time to look past US borders.

Chapter 10: 

- How are Syrian immigrants faring after almost 3 years since Trudeau welcomed them to Canada? Our Niki Reitmayer had a chance to speak with Chris Friesen, Director of Settlement Service at ISS-of-BC, and a Syrian Refugee directly.
