Chapter 1:
-Winter storm warnings continue for various parts of the province -- that includes the eastern Fraser Valley. Environment Canada says even with the snow largely tapering off, the cold Arctic air continues to move in. That means some wind, snow, and a threat of more freezing rain this morning.
Chapter 2:
-For decades, mental health has been the loser of medical funding. It came last on the list when health care dollars were divvied up. But recently it was announced that 100 million dollars was donated to mental health research in Toronto by an anonymous donor.

-In a tweet this morning from his "real Donald Trump" Twitter account, the president says "the language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made - a big setback for DACA!"

-President Trump allegedly saying “shithole” had interesting repercussions in the media. Editors found themselves in unchartered territory, unsure whether or not they should censor the President of the United States...which opens the door to a very interesting conversation.

-By a margin of two to one, British Columbians say the province made the right call to finish the Site C dam project. That according to on line surveys by Angus Reid Institute. The Vancouver Sun’s Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.

- “It’s like you go from planning the end of your life to planning the rest of your life,” said Shantee Anaquod, who has been lying in her hospital bed for more than a month suffering from an extremely rare life-threatening disease called atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS). Yesterday, Jillian Lanthier joined us on the program and explained what happened when her son was denied the drug for the third time. So are we tackling the expensive drug issue properly?
