Pavel Dorofeyev led the way with two goals, while Colton Sissons, Brandon Saad, and Reilly Smith scored three times in a 4:14 span midway through the third to swing the game. Ivan Barbashev sealed the win with an empty-net goal, and Adin Hill made 15 saves. The outburst tied a franchise record for most goals in a single period. Vegas earned the victory despite missing several key players following the Olympic break.

For Los Angeles, Quinton Byfield scored twice and Adrian Kempe added a goal and an assist, but the Kings dropped their fourth straight game.
