Divine friends, welcome to Skanda Vale for our full moon Maha Abishekam from the Subramanium Temple. It's the first time that we've had an opportunity to live stream this puja.

Lord Subramanium gave Guru the power and authority to establish Skanda Vale in order to reestablish dharma in the Western world.

He manifested to Guru – when Guru was a child, He asked him to take on His name  'Subramanium'.

In the early years of Skanda Vale, His presence and power enabled the establishment of a monastic community where people from every faith would be welcome to come, and not only worship God but directly experience God in a way that they could relate to.

He asked that the Community be established in the consciousness of the Universality of God; worshipping and recognising the Divinity embodied in every single life, not just people; animals, plants... the natural world.

This is our heritage. This is our lineage. In the gopuram here, today we are worshipping the Lord in His form of Shanmukha with the six faces. He looks in every direction as well as the present, the past and the future.

He is immensely powerful yet immensely compassionate and for those who are aspiring in their lives to integrate and merge in love with God, He is the one who will bless us with that knowledge – jnana.
