Listen Later

In this episode of Women Out Loud, Amy McElgunn, Courtney Weybury and Dr Niamh Logue unpack what happens when women have a team but not true belonging.

The team is joined by Natalie Korfinsky, president of the Kyneton Women’s Football Club, along with players Marnie Vinall and Peta Pemberton. Together, they explore the personal toll, the leadership fight and the structural barriers shaping women’s sport in regional communities.

From governance challenges to cultural resistance, this conversation looks at what inclusion actually requires. It highlights why women taking up space in sport is not a privilege, but a right.
