• Brewing
• Begin with an idea that you’re interested in
• What is your personal goal?
• Have somewhat of a direction
• Know your endgame

Building a Sideboard

• Know your metagame
• Have an idea of what you’re trying to beat

Sideboarding 

• I start by taking the cards out you know are bad in the match-up
• Remove cards that are actively bad on the play/draw

In-game Thought

• Understand the stack (first in, last out)
• Figure out your role in a given game
• Understand how all of the phases work
• Plan a turn or two ahead
• Adapt accordingly
• How competitive are you?

Sequencing 

• Take a second, plan out your turn
• Find the most optimal and beneficial order to cast your cards
