Before Madison “Mads” became a trader, podcast host and content creator, she was on a completely different path. She earned two law degrees and planned to become a solicitor, while trading stayed in the background as something she had first discovered at 18. Then motherhood changed the timeline. After becoming pregnant during her master’s degree, Mads decided she had to take trading seriously and build a life that would let her be present for her children.
The process was anything but smooth. She traded through a stressful period as a new mother, cycled through wins and losses, and went through a stretch of blowing so many accounts that she created a new dashboard because she did not want to see the total anymore. Mads also speaks openly about navigating an abusive relationship during that period and how trading became part of her path toward independence and freedom.
In this episode of Funded, host Maryam Rushdi sits down with Mads in London to talk about the 12-year journey behind the trader she is today. She explains how discipline outside the charts changed her trading, why her 5 a.m. routine became a turning point, and how she went from blowing account after account to a much calmer cycle of payout after payout.
Mads also talks about building a podcast and media business, why she tells traders not to quit their jobs too early, how motherhood changed her motivation, why the trading industry needs more honest content, and why she believes the less time you spend obsessing over the charts, the better you can become.
This one is about discipline, motherhood, identity and building freedom without pretending trading changes your life overnight.

Antonio started learning about trading as a teenager after moving from Italy to the United States. At 17, he joined the U.S. Army, came home with an enlistment bonus, enrolled in community college, and started putting his own money into the market. Then he kept losing it.
Damareous — known as D-Money — ran $100 million stores for Target and Walmart for 15 years. He was trading the whole time. Taking trades in the bathroom before a four-hour walkthrough with his boss. Staying up trading penny stocks, then Forex, then options, then losing most of it. Two years before his first payout. Then an $85,000 payout from a Forex prop that shut down overnight and vanished.
He kept going anyway.
In this episode of Funded, host Maryam Rushdi sits down with D-Money — co-streamer at BDH, creator of the character Jerome, and one of the most quietly compelling personalities in the prop trading space — for his very first podcast appearance.
D-Money breaks down how he went from Zoom calls with four family members to streaming in front of 6,000 people, why he trades better on stream than off it, and what Patrick Whelan saw in him that led to a full-time offer within ten days. He gets into why you should never quit your job to trade full time until you're ready, how discipline is the one thing that will keep you in the game when everything else says quit, and why the chat keeps him more accountable than any rule he could set for himself.
This one is for the grinders nobody has heard of yet.

Nav became profitable in her first year of trading. Then she gave her entire portfolio away to help someone in a life-or-death situation. She sat at her desk for 17 hours a day with a paralyzed neck and rebuilt everything from scratch, growing 1,000% in four months. She ended up in the Wall Street Journal, had hedge fund partners calling her, turned them down to help retail traders instead, and built a community with 100% five-star reviews. No certifications. No license. Just life experience and a gift for getting into people's minds.
In this episode of Funded, host Maryam Rushdi sits down with Nav Sandhu, trading psychology coach and founder of Market Mindset, for a conversation that goes way beyond charts.
Nav breaks down why 95% of your trading decisions are controlled by your subconscious, why reading Trading in the Zone won't fix your psychology if you don't know how to implement it, and what theta state actually means for traders who keep doing the opposite of what they know they should do. She gets into why treating money like a partner changes your relationship with it entirely, how to stop revenge trading by shifting your energetic frequency, and why the feeling you're chasing in the markets is already inside you.
This one goes places most trading podcasts never go. And at one point, Maryam starts crying.

Big Daddy Max is the loudest voice in trading. But most people don't know the rest of the story. The Army paratrooper who cried on his brother's kitchen floor the week he got out. The salesman who did $2.3 million his first year. The options gambler who made a million and lost it. The man whose insurance brokerage collapsed in a single email and left him $400,000 in debt. And then the note he wrote on the back of his daughter's photo that changed everything.

Amas is 22 years old. He started trading at 18, went straight to prop firms, built his strategy with his brother, and decided from day one that he was going to do the complete opposite of everything the internet was telling him. Low risk-to-reward. Base hits. Mechanical entries. No discretion. No flash. No $200K months. His goal was $3,000 a month. Then he built from there.
Dhesi blew his brother's bank account trading meme stocks at 17. He was profitable eight months later. Brian got lucky on penny stocks during COVID, dropped out of college with one year left, and never called the school back. Both of them have been building in parallel for years -- talking every day, pushing each other, watching every run happen in real time.
In this episode of Funded, host Maryam Rushdi sits down with both of them for a conversation about what it actually looks like to grow together.
Dhesi breaks down how he was up $380,000 with 10 days left to a max payout -- and watched it go to zero in three days. He gets into the motto that changed his trading: speed up by slowing down. Brian walks through the silver run that generated $2.7 million in two weeks, why every trader has a moment they just have to survive long enough to reach, and what it cost him to figure out that trading every session around the clock was actually making him worse.
They also get real about psychology over strategy, when to shut the charts off entirely, and why the two-person support system they built is the thing neither of them could have done this without.
This one hits different when you hear it from two people who watched each other earn it.

Jake spent the first three and a half years of his trading career putting paychecks straight into the market and watching them disappear. No strategy. No plan. Just gambling with real money and hoping something would click. His dad finally sat him down and told him the truth. Then COVID hit and he locked himself in a room for an entire year. And when he came out the other side, he figured out something most traders never do.
He gets into why your partner should never be able to tell if you had a red or green day, how he built a performance grading system that took the emotion out of losing, and why mental capital is the thing nobody talks about but everyone runs out of. He also breaks down the exact math that convinced a guy who could already trade his own money to go all in on props instead.
Tyler Goedtel worked the elevator union -- six figures a year, miserable every single day. He'd hide in the porta potty on the job site to check his trades. He came home and back-tested until he fell asleep with a laptop on his chest. He maxed out every credit card he had to fund his accounts. And then, in his first month after moving to Miami with $10,000 in the bank, he made $168,000.
In this episode of Funded, host Maryam Rushdi sits down with Tyler Goedtel -- known online as TG Capital -- for a conversation about what it actually looks like to bet everything on yourself and win.
Tyler breaks down how he built a model backed by six years of data, why he traded London session from 2AM before showing up to a construction site at 6, and how he made $51,000 on a single trade -- the largest payout in Tradeify's history. He gets into why comparing yourself to anyone on social media is the most destructive thing a trader can do, what really happens when you go from eval to funded, and why if your outside life is a mess, the charts are going to show it.
This one is for everyone still grinding through it right now.

Going from liquid millionaire to 80 grand in debt in five days would break most people. For Kane, it became the moment that changed everything.
In this episode of Funded, host Maryam Rushdi sits down with Kane, one of the most well-known traders in the prop space and the man behind one of the largest payouts in prop firm history, for an honest conversation about what the trading world actually costs and what it actually takes.
Kane breaks down how he lost close to a million dollars when FTX collapsed, why therapy was the only thing keeping him in the game, and how he turned around and built a methodical strategy around 20 prop accounts that generated $1.8 million in payouts. He gets into why good trading is boring, how he spots a real trader in 45 seconds, and what the influencer side of this industry is doing to the people who are genuinely in it.
He also gets real about where he is right now: closing his Discord, stepping back from content, and trying to figure out what Kane 2.0 actually looks like.
This one goes deep.

The trading world moves fast. And most of what actually drives it, the real decisions, the hard lessons, the mechanics behind who wins and who doesn't, never makes it into the conversation.
Funded changes that. A new podcast by Tradeify hosted by Maryam Rushdi, Funded goes deep into the world of trading with the people who know it best: platform builders, risk managers, firm operators, and traders who have figured out how to win. The people who built this business and the people inside it every single day.
Each episode tackles what's coming next in these markets, what most traders get wrong about how this industry actually operates, and what it truly takes to survive and succeed. No surface-level takes. Just the conversations that matter.
If you want to know what's really going on in the world of trading, you're in the right place. New episodes drop Tuesdays. Subscribe now on YouTube, Spotify, Apple or wherever you get your podcasts.
