It comes with great sadness that a legend, a star, a huge part of my musical background passed away this month. Whitney Houston gave us one of the finest voices in the World so, naturally, I had to honour her with one of my favourite tracks from 1993, remixed by Civilles and Cole – “I’m Every Woman” wraps up this month’s show.

But, before that, we have a whole host of funky uplifting tracks. I’m particularly fond of the comeback of some house classics from the glory years with remixes of “Put ‘Em High”, “Soul Central”, “Black Legend” and even “World Go Round”.
