In the spirit of science, discovery, and innovation, STAT and its partner Affiliates are thrilled to present "Funny You Should Think That"—a web series that not only addresses misconceptions in science but also takes a closer look at their earlier development and progression into high school-level learning.
The Texas Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (TSAAPT) kicks the series off with a special presentation from STEM Experts' Cathy Barthelemy, a lifetime Texas Council of Elementary Science (TCES) member and the former executive director of education at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and Karen Jo Matsler, Ed.D., of UT Arlington/The UTeach Institute, a former high school physics teacher of 20 years, as they explore misapprehensions about light and shadows.
