Further warnings have been sounded over bogus tradesmen operating in County Sligo.

It's understood that there have been a number of incidents in recent weeks where they are calling to doors unannounced.

Residents are being warned not to allow them to do any work as they may carry out a substandard job and then overcharge.

People are also asked to report any such activity to Gardai.
