Welcome to 2026- Our year of FURTHERANCE; Raising Missionary Believers.
What does Furtherance truly mean, and how can we tell that we are growing? In this teaching, we are reminded that furtherance means _progress (prokope),_ and that progress is not assumed—it can be known, measured, and tracked. It is our year of progress and advancement.
The power of the gospel is not necessarily in the person, but in the message itself. Wherever we find ourselves becomes an opportunity to preach the gospel, and God is raising believers who will defend the gospel and continue its message in our day. This sermon challenges us to move beyond convenience, stagnation, and appearance, and to allow the gospel to prevail through us.
True growth must be visible. People should see us and see what we have grown into—reflected in our decisions, our character, our consecration, and our lifestyle. Change does not come by showmanship or dramatic props, but by the teaching of the Word, through which men are built.
How will this progress happen?
This sermon lays out the truths of measurable fulfilment, spiritual growth, and gospel advancement, and calls us to grow into the kind of person God desires—so that He can raise us, and through us, raise others. Listen to this sermon to understand what furtherance truly looks like, how it happens, and how the gospel can prevail through you in your day.
