Furiosa and The Wives work quickly to reduce the weight of the tanker while Max lays a trap for their pursuers. Before long they are on the move once more. Meanwhile, Immortan Joe’s War Parties are having trouble navigating the muddy terrain. Suddenly, Joe’s lead vehicles trip Max’s trap and the resulting explosion halts the War Party completely.
