Max is able to recover and acts quickly to keep more Polecats from harming those inside the rig. In the melee, Max is thrown from the side of the Rig, but Furiosa is able to catch him by the leg. While distracted, Furiosa is stabbed by the Polecat in the black mask who has returned. Amidst all of this, Nux is able to finish his repairs and the War Rig returns to full power.
