Nobuyuki Sato has a troubled history. Neighbors said he became increasingly violent after his father died in 1989. They saw him break doors and windows in the family house, and noticed that his mother once had a black eye. On January 28th, 2000, four years after Sato’s mother reported his odd behavior to authorities, officials would finally respond with a home visit. Who they would find would solve a decade old missing persons case.
