In 2010, Pastor Ian Zerna of Impact Church near Sydney in Australia got a phone call saying his church was burning to the ground. While 2,000 people watched it burn, Ian picked up his phone and called the original architect, John Dingemanse in Tasmania. He said John, my church is burning but please come with your design tools because God told me He is going to help us rebuild the church bigger, better and stronger. Let's use this opportunity to reimagine the local church. What resulted is what many are calling "Future Church."
