As I entered the festival hall in Frankfurt, back in September 2017, I was both impressed and completely confused. Mercedes-Benz had obviously gone to a great deal of effort to decorate the entire festival hall with the latest and finest premium vehicles — and then to hold a festival at which the only people speaking had nothing to do with automobiles. Everything for the future of mobility!

Future of mobility: Why we talk to pioneers of our time

In Daimler’s online magazine, we want to talk about the people behind this company. Our focus is on three points: Firstly, we want to deal with topics that are relevant for society, relevant in terms of technology or relevant in terms of our strategy. Secondly, we want to show the many faces that Daimler is made of. And thirdly, we want to explain what this company does – and why it does so. You could even go as far and say: If our website with its daily news is something like a Daimler newspaper – then the Daimler Magazine is our weekend supplement.
