Future Ottawa Senator, Karl Alzner

Listen Later

The boys return for another (late) episode. The Dallas Stars have advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals, to the horror of both Jordan and Keegan. They lament the fact that the fun teams like Vegas and Colorado were eliminated and worry about the possibility of other teams copying the "defense-first" play style of the Stars.

Peter Laviolette signed a deal to become the head coach of the Washington Capitals and the guys give their thoughts on Laviolette vs Mike Babcock and Gerard Gallant.

Bye Bye Borocop. Mark Borowiecki announced, via his agent, that he will be testing free agency this offseason. Jordan discusses Boro's fit as a Maple Leaf and Keegan reflects on how this will impact the Senators' rebuild and the community in Ottawa that has grown fond of Borowiecki.

The Arizona Coyotes have signed another goalie to a 1-year, 1-way contract, a signal that they are going to be moving on from either Darcy Kuemper or Antti Raanta this offseason. Do either goalie make sense for the Senators or Leafs to acquire?

Jordan breaks down some players/contracts that he thinks the Senators should target this offseason to inflate their salary cap. Keegan is interested in some and less interested in others, but Jordan sticks to his guns and argues that the Ottawa Senators should seriously consider acquiring Karl Alzner from the Montreal Canadiens.

Finally, The Double Agent Game makes its' triumphant return to the pod! Keegan struggles to identify a player from recent Battle of Ontario history.
