When doing something new, feeling the challenge of learning, or creating a new habit - invite yourself to sit with your “future self” who has already done that thing, already mastered where it is you are compelled to go, already celebrating the success you are working toward. (Just to clarify: when looking back at life and seeing it hasn’t gone to ‘plan’ that is separate from work - when speaking to that, there was a part of myself that perked up to recognize that I do plan well when it comes to work. A reminder to give ourselves credit where credit is due).
