Whenever we talk about automated or autonomous driving, there’s one topic that particularly unsettles people: How do we know what these automatic vehicles are doing? Whom do we look at as we’re crossing the street? Will they stop for us? Have they seen me?

Futurology: Human beings first! Empathy, with or without a car

In Daimler’s online magazine, we want to talk about the people behind this company. Our focus is on three points: Firstly, we want to deal with topics that are relevant for society, relevant in terms of technology or relevant in terms of our strategy. Secondly, we want to show the many faces that Daimler is made of. And thirdly, we want to explain what this company does – and why it does so. You could even go as far and say: If our website with its daily news is something like a Daimler newspaper – then the Daimler Magazine is our weekend supplement.
