In this episode, we will talk about how Jason found people who believed in him in Toastmasters. He shares a story about an associate pastor who stuttered when he joined Toastmasters. This pastor gained confidence in Toastmasters and stopped stuttering. Then, he earned the head pastor position, the goal that he wanted to achieve when he joined Toastmasters. We will talk about servant leadership and how Jason has been influenced by his boss where he works. He will share how his work fits with his passion to provide extraordinary customer service. We will also talk about Jason’s experience volunteering for a United Way-funded program to help families become financially self-sufficient. Jason defines what empower means within this program and compares this to what managers typically mean by empowering employees in the workplace.
