May 4 is Star Wars Day and May is National Foster Care Month. So it seems to be a perfect time to reflect on one of the most powerful themes in the galaxy far, far away: the importance of chosen, fostered, and blended families.

From the Skywalkers to the Ghost crew, Star Wars has always shown us that family isn't just about blood—it's about connection, support, and standing together through the darkest of times.

This month on the podcast, we’ll be spotlighting some of these non-traditional families throughout the Star Wars universe.
