What does our baptism mean to us? Our baptism is into Christ. We put on Christ as a garment, which identifies us with him. Our identities are shaped by who we know ourselves to be in Christ, and our baptism preaches to us. When assailants attack our faith, we may rightly respond like Luther: "I have been baptized, I am a Christian."
