Have you ever felt a deep anxiety and longing to see Christ formed in someone you love? Maybe one of your children, or a family member.  This is how Paul felt writing to the church in Galatia. He expresses his deep concern for them. To help them grasp the astounding folly of their actions, Paul reminds them of their former life, and of their newfound life in Christ.
