In his letter to the churches in Galatia, Paul argues against the Judaizers who thought righteousness before God came through keeping the law. We are not so different today, often relying on our own good deeds as a means to justify ourselves before God. In this sermon by Pastor Steve Thompson, we look at Galatians 3:10-14 where Paul says, "for all who rely on works of the law are under a curse," and that "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us." Pastor Steve shares that Christ has rescued us from our self-reliance by paying the penalty that we owed for our sin.
