Eddy Moratin // Sometimes the ways we choose to protect our own well-being do more harm than good. We just don’t know it at the moment. When we look at the example of Jesus, we see that he came to earth to make one family united by faith. Jesus calls us to understand that he is our only safety. When we seek to live rooted in our faith in Jesus, we begin to see the way he hopes for us to see. We begin to see the larger, inclusive family of God. He doesn’t want to see cookie-cutter copies of his people but a beautiful multiethnic and multicultural family portrait. Let’s strive to love each other well and focus on the ways that he has called us to be one.
