TS Galaxy is a football club that’s only been operating for the past three years and has only been in the professional football set-up for 10 months but they’ve made history. They have achieved something which teams in the lower divisions couldn’t do in the previous years, to win the Nedbank Cup title. The Mpumalanga based club who bought the status of Cape Town All Stars at the end of last season had finished eighth in the National First Division this season. Club Chairman, Tim Sukazi says playing a squad comprising only of South African players is another success story of Galaxy.
