The distinguished Space Brothers face off against their greatest challenge – the pile of galactic excrement called Galaxy Lords. Topics include yet another gratuitous reference to Back to the Future, trying to figure out exactly what GL is paying homage to, Goethe’s rules of criticism, repeated violations of the conventions of filmmaking, contrasts with Spaceballs and Galaxina, making fun of the wrong movies, bad beards, finding the right mix of goofiness and seriousness, off-the-rack women’s wear from Kohl’s, CGI/ greenscreen successes and failures, the misguided internet community dedicated to this movie, comparison with The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, the importance of lighting in low budget filmmaking, the flying treadmills, “HISTORY BLAST!”, and our bold prediction that the filmmakers’ next project – a martial arts parody – will contain a character with “hilarious” bad dubbing.
