In Gale Eats Worms, we meet Gale, a peculiar team mentor who’s known for her odd habit of eating worms right in the staff room. Her colleagues, puzzled by her unconventional lunch and apparent lack of work ethic, wonder how she got promoted over more diligent workers. As Gale munches away, worms twisting in her lunchbox, the narrator’s frustrations reveal more about office politics than they do about Gale’s eccentricities.
