We also look ahead to the future of the series and break down all our excitement for the upcoming release, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave!

A Huge Special Thanks: A massive thank you to Nintendo for providing review and access codes for the last three Fire Emblem titles (Three Houses, Three Hopes, and Engage)! Your continued support of the show and our community means the world to us.

In this landmark episode of the GALP Gaming Podcast, Bish sits down for an exclusive bilingual interview with legendary Koei Tecmo Executive Officer and Producer Tomohiko Sho!

From shaping the iconic hack-and-slash dynamics of the Dynasty Warriors (Shin Sangokumusou) franchise to leading Omega Force and Koei Tecmo’s premier development teams, Sho-san shares invaluable insights into the history, evolution, and future of action game design.

We discuss the balancing act of keeping long-running series fresh for modern hardware, adapting games for global audiences, and a direct message to fans worldwide!

Let's take a look at Team Ninja’s Dead or Alive 6 Last Round .

Is it worth picking up today, or have aggressive monetisation and missing feature updates left it dead on arrival?

Musou, monsters, and major delays! This week on GALP, Bish delivers his unfiltered thoughts on the new Dynasty Warriors: Origins DLC and dissects the open-zone gameplay mechanics of Nioh 3. Plus, we tackle a major rumor: did the massive launch of Pokémon Pokopia silently derail the release window for Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered? Bish looks at Tomihiko Sho's involvement and breaks down how Omega Force's secret workload might have left DW3 fans waiting in the wings.

Censorship is reaching a boiling point, and the rules make absolutely no sense. Today, GALP dives into the weirdly inconsistent world of Japanese game censorship. We look at the death of Senran Kagura 7even, the survival of Samurai Maiden, and why Sony-backed blockbusters like Stellar Blade get a green light while others get the axe.

Our Take: Protecting kids is essential, but it belongs in the hands of the storefronts and established rating boards like PEGI and ESRB, not arbitrary corporate censorship.

We also briefly touch on the Dead or Alive series and discuss how the Online Safety Act is shaking up the industry. You don't want to miss this deep dive into the industry's biggest identity crisis!

If you spent the 2000s screaming "It's Tricky!" at your TV, this episode is for you. Bish takes a deep dive into the history of SSX, charting its rise to greatness and the frustrating reasons why a proper revival never happened. Luckily, the indie scene is stepping up. We're shining a spotlight on Wabisabi Games' newly revealed HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate. Bish breaks down why this game looks like the true modern heir to SSX, from its vibrant, high-energy style to its commitment to classic features like couch co-op split-screen and 8-player online multiplayer mayhem. Grab your board, we're heading back to the slopes!
