Heads up for those of you who love money, who worship money as your God. One of these days you're going to have more of it than you can count, in fact it's just going to lay out in the street and nobody's going to want to count it. Why? Because it's going to be worthless. Let me read it for you: "They shall cast their silver in the street, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their goal shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels because it is the stumbling block of there iniquity."
(Ezekiel 7:19) and a sister text about wealth pointing to a similar situation, I found:
"For in one hour so great riches is come to nought/nothing. And every shipmaster and all the company/crewmen in ships, including sailors, and as many as trade by sea." (Revelation 18:17) paraphrased read it. They describe their wealth as worthless. So whether you found the love of money through gambling, through investing, through plain out lusting after the thing it can buy, or from simple greed; believe me you can't take it with you to heaven. And the damage it does to you by hoarding it, or treasuring it here on Earth just may keep you out of heaven; if you don't repent & return to God. So as I stated in my last podcast about gambling let every man and woman be convinced in their own hearts before God, you be the judge. Don't let money become your God, Amen.
