Analysis: The playoffs are officially here as the speed of the game picked up in a big way right off the hop of this one. It was a physical, fast game in which both teams struggled to really take hold of for the first half of the game. Then, VGK’s biggest advantage of the game came to life as the power play scored in just six seconds. From there, it was about winning the battles in front of the goal and Vegas needed everyone’s sticks to get it done but they ultimately finished the job. (Recap by Ken)

The Year of Brett Howden is not regular season specific!
On a nothing looking rush, Howden got it out wide and Bogosian had no interest in defending him. Howden says, ok fine, and shoots it into the net. VGK up 3-1.

William Karlsson with an incredible stick to break up the pass on the 6-on-5. Thought that might have been an awarded goal. Nonetheless, VGK are in great shape now.
