The Golden Knights win Game 5 and take a 3-2 series lead. Vegas will have a chance to close out the series with a Game 6 victory on Thursday. Puck drop in Minnesota is scheduled for 4:30 PM. (Recap by Jason)
Analysis: The Golden Knights needed a little magic from their bench boss to help them continue the momentum from Game 4 and they got it. Eichel and Karlsson were dynamite together early in the game and it put the Wild on their heels. Karlsson standing right in front on the second goal was exactly what was expected when they were put together. VGK needed an unbelievable escape to get out of the 3rd period without giving up the lead, thanks to an offside challenge. In overtime, VGK needed a hero and they found one in Brett Howden. (Recap by Ken)
