GAME 65 – Overtime Exposes Who Has More Strength
When the game goes into overtime, talent is no longer enough.
Overtime reveals preparation.
It exposes who trained longer, who conditioned harder, who stayed disciplined when nobody was watching.
In today’s Perfect Athlete Devotional, Proverbs 12:24 says:
“The hand of the diligent will rule.”
Diligence is what separates athletes who fade from athletes who rise when pressure increases.
Overtime strength comes from what you did when nobody saw:
• extra conditioning
• extra skill work
• extra film study
• extra prayer
• extra discipline
• extra recovery
• extra commitment
The athletes who work in the unseen moments show up differently in the seen moments.
This devotional challenges athletes to choose one area this week where they will go beyond what is required.
Because when pressure increases, preparation becomes visible.
If you want to dominate overtime moments in your sport, your preparation has to exceed average.
Comment “EXTRA WORK” if you're committing to go beyond the minimum.
