When students gather around a VEX robot, something shifts. "I" becomes "we."
Competition becomes collaboration.
Students who struggled to connect suddenly have something worth connecting over.
Tina watched VEX transform engagement for students with special needs in ways traditional instruction never reached, because with VEX, there is no wrong answer. Only the next attempt.
The hardest thing she's asked teachers to do has nothing to do with robotics. It's giving up the belief that they have to be the smartest person in the room.
VEX Robotics is building communicators, collaborators, critical thinkers and creative problem solvers.
