đ Live from FETC | Unscripted Intelligence:
Game Changers Series Proudly partnering with VEX Robotics
Guest: Tina + Dr. Jimmy
Host: Arvin Ross + Dr. Michelle Ament
Presented by: The Human Intelligence Movement
Game Changers at FETC | VEX Robotics Is Building Human Intelligence
đEpisode Summary:
Nobody expected a robot to teach kids how to talk to each other.
In this episode of Game Changers at FETC, we sit down with Tina and Jimmy to explore what VEX Robotics is unlocking in classrooms that no curriculum ever could.
When students gather around a VEX robot, something shifts. "I" becomes "we."
Competition becomes collaboration.
Students who struggled to connect suddenly have something worth connecting over.
Tina watched VEX transform engagement for students with special needs in ways traditional instruction never reached, because with VEX, there is no wrong answer. Only the next attempt.
The hardest thing she's asked teachers to do has nothing to do with robotics. It's giving up the belief that they have to be the smartest person in the room.
VEX Robotics is building communicators, collaborators, critical thinkers and creative problem solvers.
