Physical media is back on the menu as Aaron talks Control, returning to Breath of the Wild, and plenty of Dungeon Crawler Carl. Larry shares updates on Toy Story 5, Murdle, D&D, and the FIFA World Cup before we dive into the week's biggest gaming news, including Bungie layoffs, Microsoft's ongoing studio cuts, the return of the Steam Machine, and GTA 6 preorders.

Aaron finally conquered and platinumed Ghost of Tsushima; somehow finished Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 8... twice; and breaks down everything that caught his eye across Sony's State of Play, Summer Game Fest, Xbox Showcase, and Nintendo Direct. From Resident Evil: Veronica, TMNT: The Last Ronin, and Control to Halo, Persona 4 Remake, and the impressive early lineup for Switch 2, there's no shortage of hype.

Harry joins the DCC obsession, sharing his biggest winners from Xbox's showcase, including Clockwork Revolution, Spyro, Metro 2039, and The Magician's Devil's Deal, plus his favorite reveals from Sony and Nintendo.

Larry rounds things out as the crew dives into every major gaming showcase and wonders what in the world is going on with Microsoft.

It's the usual gaming catch-up, a little controlled chaos, and maybe some abnormal stuff too.

Aaron and Larry dive into PandaFest, indie game gems like Vampire Crawlers, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, and Absolum, plus hype for Unstoppable DCC. Then it’s straight into gaming chaos with XBOX’s new name, the Switch 2 price jump, Subnautica 2 exploding in popularity, Starfox finally returning, and the absolute train wreck that is GameStop on eBay. Oh... and why does the Steam Controller scream when you drop it?

Free Comic Book Day, Chicago adventures, and Steam Deck obsessions (Slay the Spire, Dave the Diver, Katamari) lead into DCC deep dives, a brutal Final Girl loss, upcoming plays, and a post-remodel H Mart run.

This week’s episode is a mix of comfort picks and chaotic headlines. Aaron revisits favorites like Ghost of Tsushima and Slay the Spire while diving into Witch Hat Atelier and some rereads. Larry gets hooked on Unicorn Overlord, Replaced, and falls back into Invincible.

On the news side, things get messy as Starfield on PS5 is already sparking refund outrage over major glitches, Pragmata finally drops and earns the nickname “Dad Space,” and Capcom keeps winning big after Resident Evil 9. Oh, and Xbox might’ve just admitted Game Pass is getting too expensive… plus Bloodborne movie rumors?

It’s a little nostalgia, a little chaos, and a lot of gaming talk.
