Everyone does session zero differently. This is how... what? You don't know what session zero is? Well, for some gaming groups the story they play is built by the DM and the players take it or leave it. But in others, the game to be played is strongly influenced by the players and DM working together to come up with the bones of the game. So again, everyone does it different, this is how we do it.
