A young man is told, "get a real job" by his mother. So a few days later he's off to MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) for what will be a 20 year decorated career in the US Marines.

He falls in love with fantasy and fiction, by reading hundreds of books including the entire Star Wars series. Hiding in his work restroom to cure his voracious reading need, he finds inspiration to write his own books. He soon finds it's more difficult than he suspected, but as a Marine, he put all his energy into it...
