Wolverine has been hyped for years, so when the reviews landed as “mid”, I didn’t want to write it off on hearsay. We’re missing the usual podcast this week because Steve isn’t very well, so I’ve recorded a quick, honest check-in that starts as a Wolverine game review and turns into something bigger: how we buy games, how much risk we accept, and why physical media still matters.

I explain why I chose a physical disc over a digital download, how UK pricing can swing between Amazon UK and PlayStation Direct, and why resale value changes the psychology of spending £70 on a new release.
