Gamers on The Edge @ Pinellas Comic and Maker Con

Description

The idea of being able to do what you love and use it to do good in your community is the ultimate good feeling. That is exactly what Gamers on the Edge is able to do, playing games, both video and physical, and raising money for charity while doing it.

Angel Miranda, the founder of the group, talked to us about how the group got started and how they raise money. Start with one part walkathon and add in a 24-hour marathon of gaming and you've got Gamers on the Edge.

In addition to the charity events, the group also runs game rooms at evens such as Pinellas Comic and Maker Con, MetroCon and more. To find out more about the group, checkout their website.
