Welcome back to the FPL Lounge for our GW1 Preview of the 24/25 season!
FPL is back, bebe! The lads are excited for another FPL season to begin, but with many changes to the game, and some interesting price points for many popular players, the idea of a template seems more tricky than ever.
The lads begin with their radar picks, including a high-owned premium asset on the centre of the radar, but whose ownership at this time last season was more than double what it currently is. Is this player's price rise worth it? Andy & Chris seem to think so! The radar also features a player recently on the move, and a budget defender with low ownership but with high attacking upside.
They swim against the tide to kick off the season, with a high-owned midfielder not currently tickling their fancy, before assessing the deluge of great captaincy options to kick off the season.
They finish, as ever, with a little game they like to call Who The Heck Is Stat?! Can Chris finally win this season? Or will Andy make it 5 in a row?
