Dr. Akil Fletcher is an anthropologist and gamer who researches the connections between race and online gaming and their influences on each other. Most recently, Dr. Fletcher taught a course at Princeton called "Gaming Blackness: The Anthropology of Video Games and Race." In Season 2, Episode 2 of Nerds at Work w/ TsundEri, Dr. Fletcher shares his love of video games, the connections he's found between Blackness and gaming, and using games to teach his students.
