Ganesh Rajagopalan, the celebrated violinist, has been making music his whole life, on his own and with his brother Kumaresh. In 2023 he celebrated 50 years of being a professional musician both with Ganesh Kumaresh and with Shakti. He has an extensive catalog of albums, and tours regularly.

Yugma is Ganesh’s latest project. This piece, an original composition in the traditional form of the Indian Raga, is performed with the violin as the main instrument, accompanied by a string orchestra. It’s stunning!

Ganesh and Baruch discuss inspiration and music, this music in particular and the dimensional aspects of all music.  It was a bright and super friendly conversation. Ganesh shares how he was first exposed to music, which is very cool.
