Dan Johnson is a 4x nonprofit founder, former
impact evaluator, and nonprofit coach. He grew
his first nonprofit to 10,000 volunteers
nationwide in 3 years, and has created federal and
state policy change on numerous issues. Dan’s
work has been featured in The Nonprofit
Communications Report, CNN, The Chicago
Tribune, The Examiner, Mic Magazine and
organizations he’s helped have been featured in
national outlets including Vanity Fair, the New
York Times, and hundreds of local news stories.
Dan developed the 5 Levels of Sustainability to
give business owners and professionals a pathway
to creating a nonprofit that lasts.
He serves these
leaders through 1:1 and group coaching programs.
He lives in North Carolina with his wife and two
sons, Alex and Leo, and is a long-suffering fan of
Detroit Lions football.
